Unlike other floors laminated floors have their own characteristics that make them very appealing to the eyes and touch. These products are made of a laminated product, which is applied, to the top of a HDF floor (high density fiberboard), which makes these types of floor very durable and gives them a quality, which you cannot get in other types of floor coverings.

These products are like I mentioned earlier a high density fiberboard with a laminated covered design on the top then there is a coat of aluminum oxide varnish applied to give this type of flooring a slight shine. It also protects the laminated design on it, making it resistant to change in color.

This floor has a warrantee of 25 years also like hardwood floors but it is warranted against fading to the light and sun, which other floors are not, which makes this product very famous.

It has plenty of very elegant looking designs from hardwood floors to ceramic tiles, and they also are a very appealing look alike.

They are very easily installed by any person who is willing to do it and it takes no time at all to put down.

It is available in 2 different formats:

1-  it is made to glue on the seams
2-  it is made to click together.

The glue down type is the same quality but the only difference is that if you ever tire of your floor you cannot remove it and put it in another room if that is what you desire.

The click type is easy to install and if you tire of your floor say like in ten years you can easily remove the floor and install it in an other room of your home.

Now both are installed the same way and both have the same qualities as I mentioned before. To install this product you have to put down a foam barrier on the floor to cut down the sound of a floating floor and then you start to click the pieces together or glue them in which case the type of floor you purchase will determine that, following that you then leave 1/4" gap around the room's surface in order for the floor to move as it need to when the house moves.

This floor if installed to tight will buckle like real hardwood floors so you really need to leave that gap around the walls.

The range in colors is great they have a very wide selection of design and colors.
